So this is the place where the team will be bringing all our various resources together; from Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and wherever else.
We're really hoping to do some good with this project: From our own experience we know how hard it can be to get involved with a detached and elitist art world. We want to show people that experiencing art isn't all about rubbing your chin in a white box room.
So it seems that in this time of savage cuts being made to the arts it is absolutely the right time for grass roots artists movements to prove successful, and we want to get as many students and graduates on board as we can.
That's our plan, but we can't do it all ourselves, so tell your mates and submit anything (and I mean anything!) that you would like to get into our first Forum event, #01.
In other, less soapboxy news; we are currently looking for a space (preferably free!) that we can use for all the artistic goodness. We're in talks with a couple of places just now, and I'll keep everyone posted as to developments. As soon as we secure a place, things can really start moving forward.

Forum is a platform for emerging artists to show their work in an exciting and engaging space that allows the viewer to engage with on a more personal level than traditional exhibitions.
Our first mixed media exhibition; #01, will showcase many different artists in a ‘stream of consciousness’ visual style, and will include performance art on the opening event. The atmosphere will be unpretentious and relaxed, encouraging the viewer to stay and engage with the work on their own terms.
